As Christmas approaches we all think about what it is that we want to make this holiday the most memorable. We watch the commercials and want the newest electronics and the latest everything. So when we shop for our loved ones there are some important tips to remember:
- Buy friends and family what they want, not what you would want for yourself
- Buying a gift for another person does not mean you can reward yourself with a gift of your own
- Just because something is on sale doesn’t mean you can give multiple people the same gift
- When you begin to make your shopping cart too heavy to push just remember that just because it’s free today does not mean you won’t get the credit card bill next month.
- Try to shop with cash only so that you can keep track of how much you have spent
- Create a shopping list with the names of everyone you will buy gifts for, what you plan to purchase for them and from where you will purchase the gifts.
